摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation detecting device, in an eddy current-type indicating instrument, which does not obstruct the indicating characteristic of the eddy current-type indicating instrument, in which a rotation can be detected satisfactorily with a reed switch by using leakage flux with a magnet in the indicating instrument, which restrains the constituents of additional components and which is low-cost and compact. SOLUTION: This rotation detecting device is provided with a shaft 2, which is shaft- supported on the bottom-face side of a frame 1 in an eddy current type indicating instrument. In addition, it is provided with a magnet 4 which is fixed to the upper end of the shaft 2. In addition, it is provided with a cup-shaped magnetism conducting body 4 which surrounds the magnet 3 and which is fixed to the shaft 2. In addition, it is provided with an inverted cup-shaped indication plate 9 which is arranged and installed between the magnetism conducting body 4 and the magnet 3 and to which a pointer shaft 8 is attached and fixed. In addition, it is provided with a pointer 10, which is fixed to the upper end of the pointer shaft 8. Magnetic poles comprising even numbers of at least four poles or higher are installed in the magnet 3. Openings 14 are formed at positions faced with magnetic pole parts in which S-poles and N-poles of the magnet 3 are set as pairs in the bottom face 4B of the cup-shaped magnetism-conducting body 4. A reed switch 15 is arranged and installed, close to the part of the bottom face 4B of the magnetism-conducting body 4.
