PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective duct having excellent workability by forming it out of a plurality of bases mounted on a wall surface at an interval left mutually, a pair of side walls detachably-mounted on both ends of the base in its cross direction, and a cover engaged with the side wall on the opposite side of the base. SOLUTION: A base D1 is a roughly square shape and formed into a fitting pieces D11 on both ends thereof. The base D1 is screwed on a wall surface at appropriate intervals in the longitudinal direction of a protective duct D. A side wall D2 covers the side of the protective duct D longitudinally, and a fitting groove D21 engaged with the fitting piece D11 on the base D1 and an engaging groove D22 engaged with a cover D3 are formed at both ends of the side wall D21 laterally. The cover D3 covers a front surface opening in the protective duct D after piping and wiring are stored, and an engaging piece D31 engaged with the engaging groove D22 is continuously-formed in the longitudinal direction of the cover D3. A the time of piping and wiring installation, the side wall D2 can be removed, and the base D1 can be separated when necessary, thus it is possible to increase workability.
