PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recorder that can record an original once again without setting the original to the recorder again. SOLUTION: Image data of an original read by a read section 14 is stored in a read image data storage area 18a, and received image data are stored in a received image data storage area 18b. When a reprint key 16e is depressed and a copy mode is set, the image data are read from the read image data storage area 18a, and a recording section 15 records the image data onto recording paper. On the other hand, when the reprint key 16e is depressed and a communication (FAX) mode is set, the received image data are read from the received image data storage area 18b and the recording section 15 records the data on recording paper. As a result, the image data can be recorded again without setting the original to the recorder again.
