CONTROL METHOD FOR REMOTE SWITCH IN EXCHANGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an exchange to control a remote switch installed remotely from the exchange through a transmission line whose transmission is conducted in a way of time division multiplex without the need for remarkable revamping for the exchange. SOLUTION: The exchange controls a remote switch 4 through a transmission line whose transmission is conducted in a way of time division multiplex by replacing a module controller having been mounted on an extension module 3 of the exchange with a remote switch interface or inserting the remote switch interface to an idle slot for an L/T card mount of the extension module 3.
