The invention relates to an aerofoil which has a round nose (41) and a slightly tapered trailing edge (42), especially an aerofoil of a ground effect vehicle, with a median line (43) which is cambered downwards. The aim of the invention is to create a longitudinally and vertically stable aerofoil without any further aerodynamic measures. To this end, the highest camber of the median line (43) lies between 50 % and 90 % of the depth of the aerofoil and the torque (44) that is exerted in a positive sense of rotation in the direction of the trailing edge (42) is compensated by the centre of gravity being located in front of the centre of lift. The invention also relates to a ground effect vehicle with at least one aerofoil of this type. |
