A method for recycling a composition containing calcium fluoride powder in the form of micrometric particles. The inventive method comprises the following steps: (i) the composition is mixed with calcium fluoride powder in the presence of water, whereby the size of the particles is sufficient to feed a high frequency furnace (also known as a natural spath) and the ratio r is less than 75 wt. %, preferably 30 wt. %, followed by (ii) the mixture resulting from (i) is dried until a residual water content corresponding to a high frequency furnace feed is obtained. Step (i) can optionally be carried out at the same time as step (ii).
