The upper part (2) of the cork contains an electronic timing and firing signal circuit and a liquid crystal remaining time display (5). The lower part of the cork (3) has a corrugated surface and is initially shaped to maintain itself automatically in the bottle neck (4). An explosive charge is contained within the lower cork and at a predetermined time an explosion is detonated by the electronic circuit which elongates the cork and releases it
