In a laminated organic electrophotographic photoconductor with separate functions the charge generating layer contains a titanyloxy phthalocyanine compound (I), which has a clear refraction peak at a Bragg angle (2 eta ) of 9.6 deg /! 0.2 deg or 27.3 deg /! 0.2 deg for CuK alpha x-radiation (wavelength 1.521 Angstrom ); and the charge transport layer contains an arylvinyl-arylamino-tetralin compound (II). In an organic electrophotographic photoconductor of the laminated type with separate functions, with an undercoat, charge generating layer and charge transport layer on a conductive substrate, (a) the charge generating layer contains a titanyloxy phthalocyanine compound of formula (I), which has a clear refraction peak at a Bragg angle (2 eta ) of 9.6 deg /! 0.2 deg or 27.3 deg /! 0.2 deg for CuK alpha x-radiation (wavelength 1.521 Angstrom ); and (b) the charge transport layer contains an arylvinyl-arylamino-tetralin compound of formula (II); X<1>, X<2>, X<3>, X<4> = halogen; k, l, m, n = 0-4; Ar<1> = optionally substituted aryl; Ar<2> = optionally substituted arylene; R<1> = hydrogen (H), lower alkyl or lower alkoxy; Y<1> = H or an optionally substituted alkyl or aryl group; Y<2> = optionally substituted aryl. An Independent claim is also included for electrophotographic apparatus with this photoconductor and charging, exposure, development, transfer, fixing, pre-exposure, cleaning and transport units.
