The solar energy collector system (6) is frost-resistant, works on the thermo-siphon principle and uses corrugated plates (5). It forms part of a roof or facade covering of a building, with a reservoir (1) in the ridge comprising an extruded pipe. In it, profiled components overlap each other and in the profiling the collector component is located. The extruded pipe constituting the fluid reservoir is provided with end caps and its insulation is achieved by hollow spaces in its outer periphery. On the pipe periphery is a flange, which acts as fixture component.
