SIMULATION SYSTEM AND METHOD USING AGENT

PURPOSE: A simulation system and method is provided to easily implement a system configuration without a physical installation based on a graphic user interface(GUI) when an asymmetric digital subscriber line(ADSL) transmission unit or a fiber loop carrier(FLC) is installed. CONSTITUTION: A simulation system comprises an operator GUI(407) and a simulator GUI(406) installed in a PC(401), and an FLC simulator(403), an FLC agent(404) and an FLC manager(405) installed in a workstation(402). The FLC simulator(403) sends an information to the simulator GUI(406) based on a defined protocol, receives a simulation setting parameter from the simulator GUI(406), forward an information to the FLC agent(404) using the received parameter and construct a simulation code. The FLC agent(404) commands requesting or changing a specific parameter asynchronously with respect to the FLC simulator(403) and commands requesting, changing, generating or deleting a specific parameter with respect to the FLC manager(405)
