PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell culture substrate, a production method thereof and a cell culture method using the method in which cell peeling in a short time is made possible.SOLUTION: Provided is a cell culture substrate whose surface is coated by block copolymer including the following blocks (A) and (B): (A) a block of temperature-responsive polymer in which the lower limit critical solution temperature (LCST) to water is within the range of 0°C to 50°C; (B) a block of hydrophilic polymer which does not have LCST within the range of 0°C to 50°C, and in which an HLB value (Griffin method) is within the range of 9 to 20.SELECTED DRAWING: None
