PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute processing at times other than the time when a store is opened and to realize efficient printing according to a customer's order by deciding the layout of a main image recorded on a long-length recording medium, based on information on the size and the number of prints formed based on image data. SOLUTION: A layout decision means 72 decides the layout of the image to be recorded on a long-length silver halide photosensitive material based on the information on the size and the number of the prints formed based on the image data, and lays out the image data according to the property of a poststage. A photosensitizing processing part 4 performs image exposure on the silver halide photosensitive material and records plural images on the long- length silver halide photosensitive material, based on the decided layout information. A developing processing part 5 develops and dries the exposed silver halide photosensitive material to form plural recorded prints, which are cut and outputted as each print by a cutting means 51.
