PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the anchoring device of an optical cable capable of obtaining sufficient grasping force with respect to an optical cable whose tension members are formed of steel wires of different diameters. SOLUTION: A taper cone 12 is fixed to the tapered surface 11a of an anchor disk 11, the steel wires 52, 52 of the different diameters forming the tensile strength cable 52 are arranged on the inner surface of this taper cone 12 and then, a taper pin 13 is force-fitted. Thus, the force-fitting force of the taper pin 13 is transmitted to the taper cone 12 through the wires 52, 52 and the taper cone 12 generates plastic deformation to magnify a contact area of the taper cone 12 and the steel wires to anchor the optical cable 50 with grasping force close to breakage tension.
