LIGHT FIXING ATTENUATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light fixing attenuator which can be applied to dense mounting of an adapter and is rigid and inexpensive by simple constitution. SOLUTION: A plug frame 1 obtained by arranging a ferule 4 at an axis core and a housing 5 obtained by projectingly providing engaging pieces 12 for engage-holding a plug 8 in a plug insertion hole in a center are connected and fixed. A holding ring 17 having four disengaging pawls 18 at its tip is fitted and externally mounted in the state of being freely slidable in an axial direction in rear of engaging projections 10 engaged with engaging pieces 9a in the adapter 9 of the frame 1. The inserting recess grooves 16 of a pair of levers 23 in a pulling-out tool are formed on both of the upper/lower surfaces of the housing 5. Gaps 19 for inserting pawl parts 23c at the tips of the respective levers 23 are provided between the tips of the grooves 16 and the ring 17.
