PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a dirt of a far infrared radiating plate by a drop from a food during heat cooking, by separably detachably mounting a far infrared member having the plate and a shade plate covering above the plate at the entirety or only at the shade plate or the shade plate and a partial far infrared radiating plate. SOLUTION: A far infrared member 4 is attached to a cooking appliance having a body 1, a burner 2 and a net member 3. The member 4 is formed of a ceramic plate or the like, formed of a far infrared radiating plate 41 formed in a cylindrical state to surround a burner body 21 and with many through holes, and a shade plate 42 covering an upper part of the plate 41 and in size to overhang from a burner disposing part 13 of a soup container 12. The plate 42 is connected to the plate 41, and suspended with a mounting threaded bar at a central lower surface. Thus, oil D or the like of a grilled sliced meat B is not adhered to the plate 41 but the plate 41 performs a far infrared effect. When the plate 42 is contaminated, the member 4 can be removed and cleaned.
