The passage structure in a roof, for a chimney, has a wind guide (2) at a gap from the opening (3) of the chimney smoke pipe. The wind guide (2) has a central body which deflects striking wind to the wall of the chimney pipe (1), and the wind is caught in a trough (7) which is open upwards, forming a ring body (5) together with the inner wall of the chimney pipe (1). The ring body (5) is a component part of the wind guide (2), linked by struts (6) to the center body (4). The chimney pipe opening is shrouded by a thermal insulation (9), extending into the ventilation pipe (10), mounted at the chimney pipe (1) to form a ring gap with the ventilation pipe (10). The structure is covered by a cap (14), secured to the chimney pipe (1).
