PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide consoles of an operating machine having constitution capable of miniaturizing an operating room without impairing control amenity in an operating seat and to provide a built-up method of the miniaturized operating room without impairing the control amenity. SOLUTION: A console 1 is provided to the side of an operating seat inside of an operating room in an operating machine, and at least one console 1 is so mounted to an operating seat mounting base frame 11 in an adjustable manner by a position adjusting device 10 that a mounting section 15b of a console mount frame 15 is slipped in right and left directions on a mounting surface. When a carburetor is assembled, the consoles are temporarily fixed in a state to contract an interval between the consoles on both right and left sides of the operating seat to the minimum interval in advance, and after the carburetor is hung down by crane or the like in a state to avoid contact with the consoles to mount it to a floor member, the consoles in a state of contraction are slid to specific positions to return, and they are fixed to eliminate a dead space.
