PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device with which an operator can easily fetch the images sent from a digital video camera, etc., even if the operator has no technical knowledge of a computer hardware structure by performing the control based on a control program to transmit the digital video image data which are selected by a computer via an input/output terminal. SOLUTION: A digital image fetching device 2 is provided with a DV terminal 6, a frame memory 2a, a microprocessor 2b and a USB terminal 7. The terminal 6 has the same communication system as a DV terminal 5 of a digital camera 1 and can input and output the image data, etc., received from the camera 1. The memory 2a fetches the image data in every frame. The microprocessor 2b serves as a communication conversion means and can convert the image data into a different communication system from the terminal 6. The terminal 7 can inputs and outputs the data such as the image data of the communication system that is converted by the microprocessor 2b.
