PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leg member for a bathtub with a washing place capable of sufficiently ensuring moment strength against a lateral load acting on a height adjusting bolt and being manufactured at low cost. SOLUTION: A leg member 3 fixed in a bottom face part of a bathtub with a washing place consists of a square pipe 4 which is a main frame of the leg member and a round pipe 6-1 in which a female screw part is formed on an inner side. A through hole is formed above and below the square pipe, and the round pipe passes through the through hole. Outer beads are formed in the peripheral direction of the round pipe and are brought into contact with an upper face of an upper plate and a lower face of a bottom plate of the square pipe to sandwich the square pipe up and down, and a height adjusting bolt 5 whose lower end is put on an installation face by screwing in a bolt from below in the female screw part of the round pipe is provided.
