PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical sand supply method and a device capable of sufficiently supplying sand to a set of two sand drain hollow pipes from a hopper. SOLUTION: A connection pipe formed in the approximately inverted Y-shape as a whole and having downward forked branch pipes is connected to the lower part of a sand supply hopper 2 having a vibro-hammer upward, sand drain formation hollow pipes are respectively connected to the lower ends of both branch pipes to suspend, a sand distribution dumper pivoted on the lower end and capable of closing the upper end openings of both branch pipes in a turnable manner at a specific angle is provided to the upper part of the inside of the connection pipe, one end of a pivot of the dumper is projected to the outside of the connection pipe, and the pivot of the dumper is constituted of a cylinder mounted to the outside of the connection pipe through an arm in a rotatable manner. Then, when two hollow pipes are made to pass through up to a specific depth in a soft ground, a required amount of distributed sand is dumped into the hollow pipes by turning operation of the dumper.
