PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain aluminum particles stable in strength at high yield by mixing aluminum powder with a specified weight ratio of water, thereafter adding other powder and a water soluble binder soln. in a specified total weight ratio thereto and executing kneading and granulating. SOLUTION: Aluminum powder is fed to a degassing device 4 from a hopper 1 through a feeder 2 and a weighting apparatus 3, is mixed with water 5 of 10 to 20% weight ratio and is subjected to soft stirring and mixing for 10 to 10 min. Aluminum nitride, aluminum carbine or the like in the aluminum powder is brought into hydrating reaction with water, and metallic aluminum is left in an unreacted state together with water. The aluminum powder from which the produced gas is dissipated is introduced into a kneading device 8, and powder such as dust in iron manufacturing, carbonaceous material and coke is added thereto through a feeder 10 and a weighing apparatus 11. Into the kneading device 8, a binder soln. of 10 to 20% to the total weight is poured from a liq. tank 12 by a pump 13, and kneading is executed. The powdery mixture is granulated in a granulating device 14. As the water soluble binder, an inorganic binder such as water glass or an organic binder such as a pulp waste soln. is used as a 10 to 30% aq. soln.
