PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fill food into a container so that the middle of the container is heaped as if a heap was formed with hands, make it presentable, and improve value added to food, by causing stir members, hangingly attached to a raising/ lowering body, to enter the container and stir its contents. SOLUTION: When four stir rods 47 hangingly attached to a raising/lowering body are lowered while rotated in the directions of corresponding arrows, a cover flange 61 first comes into contact with the flange F of the container C. Then, when the raising/lowering body is further lowered, springs 63 are compressed and thereby the stir rods 47 are further lowered. Consequently the operation parts 52 of the stir rods 47 enter the container C and stick the contents W, and causes turning actions to act on the contents W. Next, in the condition, by moving stir rods 47, two in front and two in rear, positioned in the middle of the container C, toward the outside of the container C, the contents W in the container C are successively carried toward the middle, so that the middle is heaped.
