摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress transmission of vibrations between adjacent elements even when the elements are distorted due to electrostrictive effects at the time a voltage is applied thereto by laminating the elements one upon another through a shock absorbing material capable of suppressing transmission of vibrations between the adjacent elements. SOLUTION: A ceramic electronic component 1 has a shock absorbing material 12 filled into a gap A, and has multilayer capacitors 2 and 3 laminated one upon another through the material 12. The material 12 is a material capable of absorbing vibrations. An example of a material capable of absorbing vibrations is a resin material having flexibility. Examples of such resin materials include appropriate synthetic resins such as silicone resin, butyl rubber, and epoxy resin. Note that the material 12 does not necessarily have the function of bonding the capacitors 2 and 3, but the material 12 may have the function of bonding the capacitors 2 and 3 by using a material having an adhesive property as the material 12.
