PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transformer winding whose size is reduced, by improving cooling of the winding, along with relaxing of electric field concentration. SOLUTION: Only the peripheral end of a coil 4 between an insulating spacer 23 and an insulating spacer 23 is covered with an insulating member 21B, and the thickness of the insulating member 21B is made larger than that of an insulating film 22 covering a flat copper wire 3, and electric field concentration can be relaxed by the extent of fitting the insulating member 21B. Furthermore, the efficiency of cooling becomes higher, by the extent of making the thickness of the insulating film 22 smaller than that of the insulating member 21B, and a small-sized transformer winding is obtained.
