ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENT ELEMENT AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an organic electroluminescent element at a good yield rate by using a film forming preventive layer having sufficient adhesion to a base. SOLUTION: In an organic electroluminescent element having a first electrode layer 2 at least on a part of a base 1, a film forming preventive layer 3 partially provided at least on the first electrode layer, an organic luminescent layer 5 provided on a part of the first electrode layer 2 which is different from a forming part for the film forming preventive layer, and a second electrode layer 6 provided at least on the organic luminescent layer 5, adhesion of the film forming preventive layer 3 to its lower layer being in contact with it is not more than 50% by an area rate of a peeled part by a cross cut taping method regulated in Japan Industrial Standards (JIS) K5400.
