PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable block data transfer with more than seven data streams in an application related to a personal computer. SOLUTION: This method which transfers many data blocks through plural data transfer channels distributes plural data transfer engines 100 between plural devices 102 and 104 connected to a data bus 140. Each engine 100 has at least one length among plural data blocks. A centralized data buffer is managed concerning either the source or destination of each of plural data blocks to be transferred. Each of the plural data blocks is transferred through one of plural data transfer channels being different from one another on the basis of plural data block lengths set by each of plural distributed data transfer engines 100.
