PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information inputting device for easily identifying keys which are used also as character keys, and for preventing any erroneous input due to the forgetfulness of the switching of a switching key. SOLUTION: This is an information inputting device for assigning different specific functions to keys for operating preliminarily set inputs, and switching the both keys by a switching key 3 for inputting information. In switching the keys to the assigned specific functions by the switching key 3, a frame 6 indicating the position of the assigned key group is clarified. This frame can be viewed among the keys by moving a key group display board as a mechanical means, and the frame can be viewed among the keys by illumination as an electric means.
