PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device constituted so that a discoloration of paper is eliminated and a fixing characteristic with high reliability is realized in a non-contact type fixing device of an electrostatic recording type image forming device used as the output equipment of a computer and the like. SOLUTION: This non-contact type fixing device is provided with a heat radiator 18 being the heating means of toner at a position set on the surface of a recording paper by keeping a fixed distance from the recording paper. Besides, the heat radiation surface 18a of the radiator 18 facing the recording paper is formed so as to be provided with projection parts and recessed parts. Then, when a paper jam is caused at a fixing part, the contact area between the recording paper and a heating part is made small. Thus, the discoloration of the paper is prevented from occurring and the fixing device with high reliability is realized.
