PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize reduction of vibration, noise, and current consumption of a brushless motor used in an OA apparatus and an AV apparatus. SOLUTION: A brushless motor has a rotor magnet 2 which has a plurality of poles and turns a rotor and a stator core 1 which is arranged at a relative position to the rotor magnet 2 in a circumferential direction, has a plurality of salient poles and to which windings are applied. The width t1 of the tooth of the stator core 1 is 1.7 mm-2.2 mm. Or the ratio of the outer diameter D1 of the stator core 1 to the width t1 of the tooth of the stator core 1 is 8-12.
