PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid makeup cosmetic composed of a pigment, water and a poly-N-vinylcarboxylic acid amide, usable by filling in a cosmetic- containing applicator, resistant to precipitation and segregation over a long period and forming little spots on the skin. SOLUTION: The objective cosmetic is composed of at least (A) a pigment, (B) water and (C) a poly-N-vinylcarboxylic acid amide. The component A is e.g. Red 202 for an organic pigment and its content in the total ink is preferably 0.3-40 wt.%. The component A may be dispersed with a dispersing agent in the case of forming a cosmetic. The dispersing agent is a surfactant, a resin, etc., and the amount is preferably 0.2-20 pts.wt. based on 10 pts.wt. of the pigment. The component C is e.g. poly-N-vinylformamide and the amount is preferably 0.05-10 wt.%. A water-soluble organic solvent can be used in the cosmetic and the amount of the solvent is preferably 5-40 wt.% based on the total ink.
