PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new alkylamine derivative having excellent anti- inflammatory action, bone crush suppressing action and bone-salt and bone- density decrease suppressing action by bone resorption suppressing action and useful as an anti-inflammatory agent, agent for treatment of osteoporosis, etc. SOLUTION: The objective compound is expressed by formula I [the ring A is an aromatic ring, a heterocyclic group or the like; R1 is H, a 1-4C alkyl, a (substituted) aromatic ring or the like; R2 is H, a halogen, OH or the like; B is a (substituted) 2-4C alkylene or the like; R3 and R4 are each H, phenyl or the like; R3 and R4 or R3 or R4 and B may form a cyclic amine together with the bonding N atom; X is a (substituted) methyleneamide or the like; and Y is a (substituted) amino or the like], e.g. 2-[2-(4-methylenepiperidino) ethoxy]acetophenone. The compound of formula I can be produced e.g. by alkylating a compound of formula II [X' is a (substituted) methyleneamide or the like] with a dihaloalkane of formula Z-B-Z' (Z and Z' are each a halogen) and reacting the product with an amine compound of formula III to obtain a compound of formula IV.
