SPUN YARN EXCELLENT IN ABRASION, INCISED WOUND AND HEAT RESISTANCE AND FABRIC USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems about defects in p-aramid-based aromatic polyamide staple fibers and obtain a spun yarn capable of satisfying characteristics as sports uses utilizing the strength of a p-aramid-based aromatic polyamide, improving even the whole spinning properties held by polyamide staple fibers as problems and excellent in quality and abrasion, incised wound and heat resistances capable of reducing the production cost from that of the conventional polyamide staple fibers and a fabric using the spun yarn by carrying out the mix spinning of polyester/polyamide core-sheath type conjugate staple fibers. SOLUTION: This spun yarn is characterized in that the conjugate ratio of a core part (a) to a sheath part (b) is (20-60)/(80-40) wt.% and core-sheath type conjugate staple fibers comprising a core component composed of a polyester and a sheath component composed of a polyamide are mixed and spun with 5-15 wt.% of p-aramid-based aromatic polyamide staple fibers and twisted at a twist multiplier K within the range of 2.8-4.5.
