PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save the space of a container terminal. SOLUTION: A container crane 80 to run on a building 50 erected adjoiing to a container storage device 30 on the sea side and having a flat roof lower than the container storage device performs loading and unloading of containers 13 on/from a container ship 7 with the aid of trolleys 80 and has a rail 80b for a leg 80a on the sea side and a rail 80d for a leg 80c on the land side, wherein the rail 80b is installed at the top of the building 50 on its sea side while the rail 80d is installed at the top of the container storage device on its sea side, and further a rail 80e is installed on the upper part of the side face of the container storage device along the rail 80d, and the leg 80c on the land side is fitted with an attachment 80f having casters abutting to the rail 80e in such a way as embracing it from below so as to receive the tumbling moment of the container crane 80.
