PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply confirm the safety of an elderly person living alone, etc., from outside by detect-storing using and not-using of home electrical appliances, and reading and communicating stored data based on communication from outside so as to monitor the using state of the home electrical appliances through telephone. SOLUTION: At the time of providing a using state confirming device to an electrical pot, a communication adapter 2 connected with a public telephone line and a telephone set 7 is connected to the electrical pot via a power source code 6 and a magnet plug 5 to communicate using information data of home electric products with the microcomputer incorporated in the pot. When the microcomputer of the electrical pot detects the depression of an operation switch, the variation of a water temperature, a water quantity, etc., its contents and information on date, etc., are transmitted to the adapter 2. The adapter 2 stores this information and when calling of the public line occurs and an opposite party is decided to be human, converts home electrical product information to voice by a voice synthesizing circuit to send. Thus, it is possible to guess the safety of a family from obtained home electrical product information and to frequently confirm it without regard to time without troubling him/her.
