PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To tune to a desired resonance frequency, without varying antenna, length, even when external conditions change by providing at least either a radiation conductor plate or a grounding conductor plate with an antenna tuning element. SOLUTION: A tuning element 4 for a plate-like inverted F type plane antenna is bolt-shaped and is constituted, so that the distance between an element tip and a radiation conductor plate 2 can be adjusted from underneath a grounding conductor plate 1. The adjustment can be made in a range below a height H within the range, in which the radiation conductor plate 1 does not come into contact. The tuning element 4 is a bolt shaped conductor element (for example, a metallic element) which has a male screw outer diameter part and a clamp head. Furthermore, the grounding conductor plate 1 is provided with a female screw inner diameter hole, into which the tuning element 4 can be screwed at a selected specified position. The tuning element 4 is screwed into the hole by turning the head. The desired resonance frequency is obtained by adjusting the distance between the tip of the element 4 and the radiating conductor plate 2.
