PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress temperature increase of body-side space by forming in a case the body-side space where a driving element is arranged, and arranging space for arranging a specified heat-generating part which generates heat when the driving element operates, and providing partition boards which partition the body-side space and the arranging space. SOLUTION: Inside a case 2 of a photo disk apparatus, body-side space 3 where a specified driving element is arranged and arranging space 4 where specified heat generating elements 12, 13 are arranged are formed, and a final controlling element is arranged on the front surface of the case 2. In the case 2, a body-side box 6 which opened backward is formed. To the rear end part of the body-side box 6, partition boards 10, 11 made of a metallic material are fitted, and by those partition boards 10, 11, the body-side space 3 and the arranging space 4 are partitioned. The partition board 10 is arranged at the rear end part of an MD section 3a, and the partition board 11 is arranged at the rear end part of a CD section 3b. Consequently, temperature increase of the body-side space 3 is suppressed.
