PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reaping harvester enabling the position of a traveling machine body relative to the outer periphery of a group of unreaped grain culms to be properly judged through avoiding the misdetection by a distance detective means. SOLUTION: This reaping harvester has such a scheme that one side of a traveling machine body 9 is disposed, at intervals, with a plurality of distance detective means S3b, S3c which execute operations for detecting the distance to the outer periphery of a group of unreaped grain culms based on the period of time from dispatching a detection signal to receiving the corresponding signal reflected at an object to be detected, and there is provided a position judging means for judging the position of the traveling machine body 9 relative to the outer periphery of the group of unreaped grain culms based on the information thus detected by the respective means S3b, S3c; wherein the respective means S3b and S3c execute distance detective operations at temporally different timings.
