PURPOSE: A method for processing a call for an international mobile telecommunications(IMT-2000) intelligent network(IN) service, is provided to redesign a basic call state model(BCSM), designed for a voice or a narrow integrated services digital network(N-ISDN) service in a wired network of an intelligent network capability set2(IN CS-2) of an international telecommunications union-telecommunications(ITU-T), to simultaneously accept an asynchronous transfer mode(ATM) call, an IMT-2000 moving call and an IN service. CONSTITUTION: In a call processing method managing a call processing inputted via a signal protocol processor in an intelligent network capability set2(IN CS-2), a kind of a call is determined by receiving a message classifying whether the call is an asynchronous transfer mode(ATM) call or an international mobile telecommunications(IMT-2000) call in a call generation or incoming. If the call is an ATM call, the execution of call processing is requested to an ATM call processor. Whether the call is an intelligent network(IN) call is determined during the execution of call processing via a transmission/incoming basic call state processor. If so, the call is processed by requesting the execution of IMT-2000 IN service exchanging function, and if not, the ATM call is processed. If the call is an IMT-2000 call, the execution of call processing is requested to an IMT-2000 call processor. Whether the call is an IN call is determined in the execution of call processing. If so, the call is processed, and if not, the IMT-2000 moving call is processed. |
