The conveyor for articles in a packing machine with endless belts or chains (10, 11) has holders (4, 5) between which each article fits and which are connected to different belts. Toothed wheels (18, 19) for driving the belts (10, 11) are connected to a driving shaft (17) or driven shaft (16). A slide on the frame of the machine can be moved to fix both wheels within their mounting.
