PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent cracks from being developed in sealing glass and adhesion of welding waste to a device caused by sparks, in a small and thin electronic part in which a metal lid is sealed by projection-welded in a metal receptacle. SOLUTION: In an electronic part 1 in which a lead 6 sealed with glass 7 is provided and projection welding a metal lid 8 to a metal receptacle 3 in which a quartz piece 2 is housed, a train of projections 8a are formed on the peripheral part of the metal lid 8 by drawing a metal thin plate, and down- coming parts 8b1 are also formed inside the projections 8a for blocking entry of weld chippings due to sparks generated in welding, and the welding is performed by using AC welding power.
