PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently produce a support which is high in strength and excellent in earthquake resistance, by providing a steel plate-reinforced concrete pipe which is obtained by arranging a concrete layer of a predetermined thickness on the internal surface of a cylindrical form made of a steel plate, erecting the steel plate-reinforced concrete pipe as a support form on a foundation body, arranging reinforcing bars inside the pipe, and feeding ready mixed-concrete into the same. SOLUTION: A steel plate-reinforced concrete pipe 6 is formed by providing a cylindrical form made of a steel plate having flanges fixed at both upper and lower ends thereof, and arranging a concrete layer 6b of a predetermined thickness on the internal surface of the form, with reinforcing bars 6a arranged therein. The steel plate-reinforced concrete pipe 6 is installed in a depression 8a so as to enclose a steel bar assembly 9a which is formed on a foundation 8, and then the steel bar assembly 9a made up of vertical reinforcements 9a1 and horizontal reinforcements 9a2 is upward extended and the steel plate-reinforced concrete pipes 6 are coaxially piled up. Further, ready mixed-concrete is sequentially fed to the interior of the erected steel plate- reinforced concrete pipes 6, and also fed to a gap between the foundation 8 inclusive of the depression 8a and the steel plate-reinforced concrete pipe 6, followed by curing of the same.
