PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a great drainage distance and provide a resistance to the deformation of the ground. SOLUTION: A helical casing 11 having a predetermined loop diameter, in which a cardboard 12, as a drain material, is stored, is forced into a soft ground, where a consolidation occurs. By pulling out only the helical casing 11, leaving the cardboard 12 in a helical form in a space formed in the ground, whereby a drain column 10 is formed.
