PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic resin composition that has improved fluidity when it is molded and that has improved damping properties, improved impact resistance and improved dimensional stability in a heating and cooling cycle. SOLUTION: This resin composition is produced by blending, to 100 pts.wt. thermoplastic resin (A) having a glass transition temperature of not less than 120 deg.C, 0.5-100 pts.wt. liquid crystalline resin (B) wherein a melt viscosity of the liquid crystalline resin (B) at a melting point of +10 deg.C satisfies formula I and formula II as given below; formula I: 0.01<=Ub/Ua<=0.8 formula II: 0.05<=Vb/Va<=2 wherein Ua is a melt viscosity (Pa.s) of (A) at a shear rate of 1,000 s-1; Ub is a melt viscosity (Pa.s) of (B) at a shear rate of 1,000 s-1; Va is a melt viscosity (Pa.s) of (A) at a shear rate of 100 s-1; and Vb is a melt viscosity (Pa.s) of (B) at a shear rate of 100 s-1.
