PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reuse part of remaining electrons of a klystron as accelerating electrons. SOLUTION: This electron accelerating device 1 accelerats electrons by utilizing high frequency, and has a klystron 8; electron supply devices 10, 12 for supplying electrons installed on one end side of the klystron 8, a high frequency resonator 22 for emitting high frequency to electrons from an inlet cavity 16 within the klystron 8, an accelerating cavity 34 communicating with the other end of the klystron 8 and integratedly connected to the klystron 8, a waveguide 26 for guiding amplified high frequency from the outlet cavity on the other end side within the klystron 8 to the accelerating cavity 34; and a collector 32 installed on the other end side within the klystron 8, recovering part of electrons from which amplified high frequency is released, and introducing the remaining electrons into the accelerating cavity.
