PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve safety and reliability as security by prescribing the person of a visitor by comparing iris data prepared from the iris video of the visitor sent from a handset with previously registered iris data. SOLUTION: When the visitor puts his face close to a microphone 11 of a handset 2 for talking with a master unit 1, a television camera 6 provided on the handset 2 photographs the face including the iris video of the visitor and after image processing due to an image processing means, a video signal is transmitted through a communication line 3 to the master unit 1. The master unit 1 fetches the video signal transmitted from the handset 2 into an iris data processing means, prepares iris data from the iris video of the visitor and outputs them to a CPU. The CPU compares the iris data inputted from the iris data processing means with the iris data registered previously in a data storage means and prescribed the visitor. Thus, a person to deal with the visitor on the base unit 1 enables well-mannered dealing.
