A first hole(5) in one wall of the cam follower has a larger diameter than the bearing surface of the pin(7) which fits in the hole, and the second end of the pin serving as the mounting for a cam roller. A second hole(6) aligning with the first has a smaller diameter than the second end of the pin. The pin's bearing surface and second end of the pin may have the same continuous diameter. The first hole has a smaller diameter than the first end of the pin. The first end of the pin is fixed in the first hole by caulking.
