PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smooth diopter adjustment mechanism to a viewfinder by decreasing plays between a lens barrel and a lens holder. SOLUTION: This viewfinder consists of a lens holder 9, provided with a plurality of guide pins 13 at least at the outer circumference of a holder holding a magnification lens, a lens barrel 5 that contains the lens holder 9 and has a cam groove for sliding the guide pins 13, a diopter adjustment ring that is fixed to an end of the mirror barrel 5 or for integrally rotating the lens barrel 5, and a lens cylinder that rotatably contains the lens barrel 5. In this case, each guide pin 13 is a stepped pin and a plurality of the pins are fixed to an outer circumference of the lens holder 9, and a side face 13a of the step of a plurality of the stepped pins restricts the clearance of the outer circumference of the lens barrel 5 with respect to themselves.
