<p>The invention concerns a recording medium element comprising a polymeric film or cellulose or case bound substrate and an ink receiving layer affixed on said substrate. The invention is characterised in that the ink receiving layer comprises at least two separate and consecutive coating layers, the first layer called absorbent layer being affixed at the substrate surface and the second layer, superposed on the first layer, comprising at least a water soluble film-forming polymer associated with at least an aluminium polymer cationic agent. The invention also concerns the use of said element to produce an image using an ink jet printing technique.</p> |
