The invention relates to a control device for supplying a pressure means to preferably, several hydraulic consumers. Said control device has a load-sensing-regulated variable displacement pump (10) whose setting can be varied according to the highest load pressure of the hydraulic consumers being activated, by means of an LS pump regulating valve (27); proportionally adjustable directional-control valves (38), which are situated between a supply line (12) extending from the displacement pump, a discharge line (63) leading to a tank (11), and the hydraulic consumers; and a load indicator line (26), through which the LS pump regulating valve can be subjected to the highest load pressure of the hydraulic consumers being activated at the same time. A control device of this type sometimes lacks the desired dynamics. The aim of the invention is therefor to further develop the known hydraulic control device in such a way that the displacement pump can continue to operate in an energy-saving manner with the usual LS behavior but if desired, can also operate with greater dynamics. To this end, arbitrarily switchable valve elements (60, 61) are provided. Said valve elements can be switched into a mode in which a pressure can be built up in the load indicating line from the supply line, by means of said valve elements.
