PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preclude the possibility that a seat back is turned down forcibly rearwards at the time of fixation release, even in simple structure for supporting a lower end of the seat back to be freely turnable. SOLUTION: Since a releasing operation part 15 is provided in an upper part of a seat back 7, the upper part of the seat back 7 is grasped by a hand at the time of releasing engagement of a stopper 12 with an arm 8 to preclude the possibility that the seat back 7 is turned down forcibly rearwards. Therefore, any anxiety in an aspect of operability is eliminated when brought into a reclined condition, even when the seat back 7 is supported freely turnably by simple structure, in this flattened seat structure.
